Gorillas in Rwanda and Uganda - 5days
This 5 day Gorillas in Rwanda and Uganda tour will begin in Rwanda for gorilla tracking in Parc Nationale des Volcanoes and then continue to Uganda for the second gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable national park. The tour gives you a chance to have 2 gorilla tracking experiences in different habitats. The tour will then end with a trip back to Kigali in Rwanda.
Day 1: Arrival and journey to Parc Nationale des Volcanoes
On your arrival, our driver will pick you and then embark on the journey to Volcanoes National Park. On arrival we checkin and then enjoy the rest of the day learning more about the gorillas and enjoying the beautiful scenery around.

Day 2: Gorilla Trek in Parc des Volcanoes
Breakfast is served and then after a short briefing, we then start on the trek looking for gorillas in the park with an experienced guide. On the trek to meet the gorillas, you can have a look at some other wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, golden and other monkeys, several bird species and others until the trek ends with the overwhelming sight of the infamous mountain Gorillas. You will have an hour with a gorilla family and experience their ways of life surprisingly not so different from humans.
Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda
After having breakfast at the lodge, we travel north to Uganda for the second gorilla tracking. On arrival, we check in and spend the rest of the day at the facility or you can have a walk or talk to the locals.

Day 4: Second Gorilla Trek in Bwindi
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast and then briefing before embarking on the trek tracking the Gorillas with an experienced tour guide. Along the way you will have plenty of wildlife to see. Bwindi is also blessed with a variety of bird species. It can take 2 or sometimes up to 8 hours before you encounter the Gorillas. This is so because the Gorillas keep on moving from one location to the other.
You will have about one hour with the gorillas upon meeting them and then travel back to the accommodation facility.
Day 5: Gisozi Genocide Memorial and then to the Airport
After having breakfast, we checkout the then travel back to Kigali, Rwanda. We will have a stop at Gisozi Genocide Memorial Museum. After having a tour at the Museum, we will proceed to the airport.

- Put on hiking shoes for the slopes can be muddy sometimes
