The Zebra experience in Lake Mburo Uganda
Lake Mburo National Park is a very special place and every part of it is alive with a variety, interest and color. The park contains an extensive area of wetland and it harbors several species of mammals including Zebras, impalas, elands, hippos, crocodiles, monkeys, baboons, hyenas, topi and buffaloes.
The bird population includes the rare shoebill stork, it's sculptured landscape with rolling grassy hills and idyllic lake shores has a varied mosaic of habitats, forest galleries, rich acacia tree valleys, seasonal, and permanent swamps which all support a wealth of wildlife.
This tour is sufficient for those who have short time in the country or just for a weekend
Itenerary For the Tour
Day One: Briefing and tour
We meet and greet, have breakfast and then embark on the journey to Lake Mburo national park. along the way, there is a market for traditional crafts including drums, and also fruits. You can stop and have a look at the crafts. You can also get some souvenirs, we then proceed and have a stop at the Equator, take pictures and then continue to lake Mburo National park. We arrive in the afternoon and then prepare for an evening game drive around the park. We will be looking for Zebras, topis, waterbucks, antelopes, baboons, buffalo, elland, impala, water hogs etc.
Day Two: Drive around the lakes and trip back to Kampala
On the second day, we have a drive around the park looking for hyenas, Zebras, impala and other animals. We will have the lunch and then in the evening we drive to Kazuma Lookout Point to have a view of the 9 lakes surrounding this Park. Upon finishing the tour, we start on our way back to Kampala.
