A tour around Uganda - 19 days

This tour will take you to all national parks in Uganda.
The site that you will not miss:
- Gorillas in bwindi impenetrable national park
- Chimpanzees in Kibale forest national park
- Kidepo wildlife and landscape
- Batwa and Karamajong tribes
- Sipi falls on mt Elgon
- Boat cruise on river Nile and lake Mutanda in south western Uganda.

The trip will start from Kampala heading east through Jinja and to then to Sipi falls on mountain Elgon. From Sipi falls we will head north to Kidepo valley national park to have a look at the beautiful savanna and landscape coupled with a variety of wildlife.
From Kidepo we will then travel to Gulu and then to Murchison falls national park for a boat cruise and wild game drives.
The trip will continue to Kibale national park to have a look a the Chimpanzees and other primates. From Kibale national park, we travel to Queen Elizabeth looking for tree climbing lions and other wildlife.
From queen Elizabeth we will continue to Bwindi impenetrable to have the mountain Gorilla experience then end the trip to lake Mburo national park.

ITENERARY FOR THE TOUR

DAY ONE: ARRIVAL

Upon arrival, the driver will pick you up and then will take you to your guest house to relax and incase there is some free time, you can have a tour around Kampala and entebbe.

DAY TWO: TRIP TO SIPI FALLS

Meet and greet and then start on the journey heading east through Jinja and then finally to the magnificent Sipi falls found on the slopes of mountain Elgon 1800m above sea level. Upon arrival, we rest and then wait for adventure the next day.

DAY THREE: EXPERIENCING THE PARADISE

Early in the morning, breakfast will be served and then have a trip to the Sipi falls. You can also have a cultural tour around the region with an experienced guide.

DAY FOUR: KARAMOJA AND KIDEPO NATIONAL PARK

We will drive early in the morning heading north going through karamoja. Along the way you will have a look at the karamajong in their traditional wear and also you will see hundreds of cattle and goat since karamajong are predominantly pastoralists. Then we will finally arrive in Kidepo valley National park. We then retire for the night.

DAY FIVE & SIX: GAME DRIVES IN KIDEPO

On these days you will enjoy the park to the fullest. Among the sites you will not miss are the lions, giraffes, elephants, ostriches, Zebras, antelopes, buffaloes, impala, leopards, cheetahs etc and a variety of birds( with over 475 species).

DAY SEVEN: GAME DRIVE THEN TO GULU

Wakeup and have breakfast and then go for a game drive as we travel to Gulu. You will then have lunch and then proceed to the hotel for the night.

DAY EIGHT: TRIP TO MURCHISON FALLS

We will have breakfast and then proceed to murchison falls national park. On arrival we check in and then wait for an evening game drive around the park to look at giraffes, elephants, buffaloes and other animals before retiring for the night.

DAY NINE: BOAT CRUISE AND GAME DRIVE

We have breakfast and then start on the tour of the park. We drive through the park looking for buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, primates, elephants several bird species and other wildlife. We break off for lunch and then go for an evening boat ride along the Nile river.
Here you get a chance to look at the falls on a close range. This spectacle will leave you breathless, besides looking at the falls and listening to the roar of the water, you also enjoy the variety of animals along the river banks. These include Hippos, antelopes, crocodiles, buffaloes, birds and other animals as they are having a drink from the river.

DAY TEN: BOAT RIDE ON RIVER-NILE AND L-ALBERT

Today you will have a boat ride along the river nile downstream to lake Albert for a view of hippos, birds and other wildlife. In the evening we will also have the final game drive before retiring to bed.

DAY ELEVEN: TRIP TO KIBALE

Wake up early in the morning and prepare for the journey to Kibale going through fort-portal. Upon arrival in the evening, we rest.

DAY TWELVE: CHIMPANZEES AND OTHER PRIMATES EXPERIENCE

Primates to be seen are; Chimpanzees, Red tailed monkeys, Black and white Columbus monkeys, pottos, L’Hoest Monkeys, Grey cheecked Mangabey, bush babies and others. After spending time with the mammals, we then proceed to Bigodi Wetland sanctuary. Among the sites include; bush pigs, blue monkeys, baboons, mongoose, otters, bush bucks, and among others.

DAY THIRTEEN: TRIP TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

We checkout and then start on our journey to queen elizabeth national park.
"Queen elizabeth national park that has over 95 mammal species including "the big five", over 600 species, hippos, 10 primate species including( L'Hoest monkey, baboons, red-tailed monkey, colobus, chimps etc), crocodiles, leopards, hyenas, antelopes, crater, salty and fresh-water lakes, and so many breathtaking scenery. The park is also famous for its tree climbing lions and it is located at the foothills of mountain rwenzori"
Upon arriving, you check in and the wait for the evening game drive. You will see a wide range of wildlife including Elephants, kobs etc.

DAY FOURTEEN: GAME VIEWING ON THE KAZINGA CHANNEL

You will have an early morning game drive to have a look at a variety of animals including elephants, buffaloes, lions, antelopes and several others. You should also look around for the Leopard
In the evening have a boat ride along the kazinga channel. Kazinga channel connects lake edward and lake George and a trip on the channel is the best way to see animals drinking water and those that are resting. Along the channel you will have a look at hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, antelope species and many more. Also see several bird species including the eagle, pelicans, king-fisher, etc.
Optional Activity: A view while on a Hot Air baloon
In case you want to have an wide view of the sites around the park, you can hire the baloon for one hour. However to hire the baloon you will have to pay an extra $380 per person.

DAY FIFTEEN: TREE CLIMBING LIONS

This is the third day in queen elizabeth national park. The main activity on this day is a trip to Ishasha camp famous for its tree climbing lions. However you will also have a look at other animals around the park and then in the afternoon we travel south to lake bunyonyi.

SIXTEEN: LAKE BUNYONYI AND BWINDI

On this day you will enjoy the sights and sounds around lake bunyonyi. You can have a wide range of activities including:
- swimming
- Canoeing
- Cultural tour
- Bird watching

DAY SEVENTEEN: GORILLA TRACKING EXPERIENCE

Wake up in the morning, have breakfast and then get briefing from the guide before starting on the gorilla trek. After freshening up, the trek for Gorillas and other primates begins. The trek will see you go through bamboo and tropical rain forests. Upon getting confirmation from the Gorilla Tracker about the where about of the primates, there will be resting for a short time before having a moment with the gorillas. Only one hour is allowed and you can take pictures, then embark on the trek back to the camp.
Bwindi forest is blessed with 360 bird species, 5 primates species, over 200 butterfly species and about 113 mammals, therefore along the way to meet the gorillas, you can have a glimpse of these sights.

DAY EIGHTEEN: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK

You will have breakfast in the morning and then travel to lake mburo national park. This park is blessed with a variety of animal species. It is famous for its zebra and Impala, however you will also see other animals including: topis, waterbucks, antelopes, baboons, buffalo, elland, water hogs, crocodiles.

DAY NINETEEN: BACK TO KAMPALA

Early in the morning, we can either go for another game drive or have a bush walk with an experienced guide. Upon finishing the trip, we start on the trip back to kampala.
Note: The your flight should be in the afternoon or evening, otherwise we can organize accomodation for the overnight.
